Serves the simple basics done right. Our table pretty much only ordered the fried shrimp baskets and the country fried steak and they turned out great.

Awesome place for breakfast. Very accommodating for my group of 10. Even though four of the group didn't speak English, and we had quite a few special requests, the server and the kitchen managed to get every single order exactly right!

Great food, great service! I was impressed with the slice of ham I received. My husband was disappointed they do not have biscuits and gravy but other then that we really enjoyed our experience.

Extremely disappointed. I loved this place growing up. I went back for a nostalgic breakfast and unfortunately was served a horribly overpriced "omelette" (although I wouldn't call it that).

Everything tasted great. We were very pleased we were late. So the woman even fixed us scrapple sandwiches delicious

I love good diner food, and this place is near the top of my list! Great diner food and great service. Our sandwiches and onion rings really hit the spot after a day on the road. I'm definitely going there again, and this time for breakfast!

This is locals kind of place. Lots of sheriff department and fire and rescue join the crowd and the owner is there with his paper daily. It's a short order kitchen. Nothing fancy but good food and quick service. Prices are good too. Unfortunately their water seems to need a filtration system. It's not like our well water.

If you're looking for a small town maryland diner theirs no place better. Good prices, mom and pop atmosphere and great maryland food. Crab soup is a must try if you go!

I think this is a place more for locals/regulars. The food is bland and not exciting. My husband got cream chipped beef on white bread, it was flavorless. I got the crab omelet which is not on the menu. The waitress made it known that it was 20.00. When she brought our food she said the price was actually 18.00 and because I didn't order any sides with it, it was 16.00. I ate 3 bites and couldn't eat anymore. It was awful. The American cheese tasted like the cheap of the cheap and the crab was on the outside of the omelet and was dry and tasted old. On a brighter not, the table beside us ordered blueberry pancakes and they looked amazing!!

I havn't eaten there is quite some time, since my business travels to southern MD had ended. But I am so glad to read the reviews and STILL doing it the old fashioned way: home cooking, fresh ingredients, and a friendly "down-home: staff! The frying pan was always my first meal of the week in Southern Md.

It feel authentic here...I liked the chicken tender and my wife enjoyed the prime steak. Steak wasn't the best, but it was great compared to the price they charge.

It's what is known as a 'hole in the wall or greasy spoon' place. It's definitely where the locals go. Their best meal is the breakfast. I love the omelets! They aren't greasy which is a mark that I look for. They put plenty of crisp bacon; strips, not crumbled in the one that I order. It's a small place with tables close together...read this as cosy. It's clean, staff is friendly and busy going from table to table. They only serve breakfast and lunch. Check'em out!

Only been there for breakfast so that's all I can review. Great food at good prices, friendly service , you definitely won't go away hungry. Try the blueberry pancakes you won't be disappointed

I didn't really enjoy all of my meal. The fries were good but the burger wasn't really that great. Other than the burger, nice facilities and nice and social people.

That food may look good and it may taste great, but that kitchen looks abysmal. Its dirty, smells horrid, and looks unsanitary. Even the fountain drinks have a bad taste and smell to them.

Servers are very friendly and have constantly asked me how my meal is and do I want my coffee refreshed. Food is always delicious.
